Our Story
We didn't start as a retail store. We started as the people your school's stationery supplier bought from.
Gaurav Paper Mart has been a trusted wholesale supplier of notebooks and registers to schools, offices, and retailers across the Tricity for years. Long before most people thought about where their stationery came from, we were the ones making sure it arrived on time, in bulk, at a fair price.
Now, we're opening our doors to everyone.
Our new retail store in Chandigarh brings the same wholesale-backed quality and pricing directly to students, professionals, artists, and anyone who takes their stationery seriously. No middlemen. No unnecessary markups. Just good products, honestly priced.
Why we started the Retail Store
Running a wholesale business teaches you something quickly: most people are paying too much for too little.
Walk into the average stationery shop in Chandigarh and you'll find the same twenty products you've seen since school — generic ball pens, single-line notebooks, and a geometry box that hasn't changed in a decade.
We wanted to do something different.
We stock what people actually want today — premium hardcover journals, washi tapes, pastel gel pen sets, alcohol markers, art supplies, and imported stationery from manufacturers in China that most Indian retailers never bother sourcing. Products that are trending globally and genuinely beautiful to use.
And we stock the everyday essentials too — school notebooks at fair prices, quality registers for offices, and the staples that every home and classroom needs.

What makes us different
We know our supply chain. Most retail shops buy from distributors who buy from other distributors. We've always worked closer to the source. That means we know what things cost, what quality to expect, and when something isn't worth stocking. We don't sell products we wouldn't use ourselves.
We import what's missing. We travel (and source) to find stationery that doesn't reach Chandigarh through normal distribution channels. A lot of what we carry under our "Premium Imports" range comes directly from manufacturers in Yiwu, China — the same source that supplies premium stationery brands worldwide. You get the product, not the brand premium.
We're from here. This isn't a chain store or a franchise. It's a Chandigarh business, built by a Chandigarh family, serving the Tricity. When something goes wrong with your order, you're not raising a ticket with a call centre — you're messaging us on WhatsApp and we'll sort it out.
